I am the Goddess of Self.
I fling off your masks to reveal
The bare core of your meaning,
And inspire you to jump off the shelf
Of lies and charades; to feel.
I am the Goddess of Self.
I hold a dictionary of names;
Unique in etymology but not in appearance,
And define each being in existence
With regards to each personal claim.
Can you peel...
All your layers to be who you say?
I live forever, with no regrets,
For that is the only way.
I am the Goddess of Self.

I like the repetition of 'Goddess of Self', and I love the first verse. The second verse seems to lose the flow a little, but overall this is a great poem. Good luck in the contest!
