Someone is having the time of their lifes
Someone is suicidal during times of strife
Someone is getting their heart broken again
Someone is struggling with that chronic sin
Someone is hiding all of the scars
Someone is reaching for every star
Someone is letting go of one they love
Someone is looking for answers from above
Someone is in the dark, searching for light
Someone is questioning what is right
We all go through things
Great and horrendous
But in the end, after the pain
It all is stupendous
Life depends on your perspective
Being optimistic can be very effective

I was just thinking, in my time of happiness someone is being abused, and in my time of pain, someone is falling in love. This reminds me of the lyrics "Life's what you make it"

This poem calls us to be aware of those around us. Behind every face is a story. Like you said someone is suffering, someone reaching for their dreams, someone wanting to die, someone thankful to live.

Wow! That is instiring perseticive you have there. I never really thought about what happens when I'm sad or happy what someone else is doing. Your poem totally captured that idea into my head. You did though I forgot to put the option you needed in the notes. You can please fix that.

This has got a really great message to it, with the anaphora only reemphasizing said message. I also liked how you deviated from your usual form. It does the mind good to branch out a bit and try something new. Keep them coming!
