Moving Forward

Enough with the lies and fairy tale promises
The time has come for me to stop and listen
Stop pretending that it's you I've been missin'

It's not that I don't miss you because I do
But deep inside I know that there is something more
Something that means I'm finally moving foward

Sitting here I realize that it's the changes
That are leaving me with this feeling of helplessness
But I know now as I grow up, this is never hopeless

But I can finally say goodbye to the fairy tales
I can rid myself of all the worthless, pointless lies
Because I can finally let myself change and say goodbye
