Christmas is near,
Rest without fear;
Christ is born,
Christ is here.
Though the world is troubled and grim,
God has given us hope in Him.
Christ the Light of the world.

All of us hear,
"Be of good cheer!"
Yet within,
Drops a tear.
Don't forget the God we serve,
And His grace that we'll never deserve.

For sin's wage,

This is my personal entry to the Christmas Carol Re-write at the Christmas party. Several people asked for the lyrics, so here they are :-). This one took first place in categorized winnings.
