I am trapped, by a chain
that lets me loose
only to pull me back in again
and at times I want to run
run until my legs give out...
only I know that I would just run back
because what good are legs
if you've got no one to run to
and when I come to realize that I am not trapped,
that even though I give my being to another
it does not mean that they will tie it down,
but instead they will indeed set me free
then I want to walk through deserts
and swim across oceans just to be near them
because there is nothing, there is no one
who can look into the place that I keep hidden
see what there is to see, all my imperfections
my mistakes, and give everything
to see that forever
no one but you.

It is wonderful to have that one person who makes everything alright, isn't it?
Great job on this!
