Determination

Sleepless nights,
I lie in bed.
Horrendous visions,
race through my head.

One of many symptoms,
of dreadful Lyme Disease.
Years of medications,
can't put my mind at ease.

Ventured many roads,
in search of healing.
Herbal, Prescription,
Financial suffering.

Nights lacking rest,
seem to break through.
As a roller-coaster ride,
Nights of peace come few.

An issue I must face,
In my journey to a cure.
Inner strength will prevail,
through all I must endure.

My mother taught me if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all. We are not here as pros, we are here to share our art and have fun. *grin*

Nothing speaks to hope like overcoming adversity and pain, especially something so serious as a disease. And I fully believe now that you will endure.

Thank you so much for sharing this
