I see an unusual Duck
Moving across the water
It hasn't run amuck
Or into a playful Otter
I don't know what kind it is
The colors are so bright
I can't tell if it's a her or his
Even though I tried with all my might
It really doesn't matter at all
For it is beautiful to see
I think it's listening for a mate call
Oh how wonderful it seems to me
So I'll just leave the duck alone
As I continue on my way
No more skipping little stones
I'll come back another day
