Once I cried and called
from every pore of skin;
it sucked notes
written by heart
as stains in red and blue
and they became indelibly memorized
by fate.
Out from, what I thought,
was big blind eye
of dark blue sky and bruised brow
of mountains came a seashored smile,
so sun and moon were tossed over me
like mantle of fulfilled desires.
I owe so very much,
to my ingested reasons
for living so I could be gifted
by such as you.
What do I do now
that every dream has come true?
Pray every day I do not forget
who gathered us in this same place,
at the same time, because our hearts sung
the same song loud enough for God to hear.

This is beautifully stated, and each word infused with a cosmic kind of love and connection. What a wonderful reaction to this prompt. I loved "so sun and moon were tossed over me
like mantle of fulfilled desires."

Ahhh...I am quite sure he wept upon reading these words, my dear Friend...What a beautiful penning of such graceful gratitude, of complete understanding, of loving kindness. Good luck in Lane's contest, Sweetie.
