as I saw my body laying still.
Then I was at Heavens door,
everything was so surreal.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are many mansions,
He said that there would be.
They are for all who love Jesus,
and in their heart truly believe.
The streets are made of gold,
not blackened tar.
Heaven just glitters,
like its the brightest star.
Angels are floating
and guiding me through.
The Heavenly Choir
is singing now too.
In my reflection
I see the new me.
I have been cleansed
and now I'm sin free.
My glorified body
is blessedly divine.
A gift from sweet Jesus
now eternity is mine.
Stopping at the front gates,
they have to take a look.
To see if my name,
is written in the book.
"There it is!"
I heard someone shout.
I believed in Him completely,
I had not one doubt.
The gates opened wide,
to let the chosen in.
Now my eternal life,
is ready to begin.
There I see my daddy,
smiling lovingly at me.
He said come on sweet Sam,
there's so much for you to see.
Hand in hand through paradise
we both slowly walked.
Praising the precious Lord,
as we reunited and talked.
We went to watch and listen,
to the Heavenly Choir.
There was my niece Cayla,
dressed in Heavenly attire.
When she was finished singing,
with her angelic voice.
She came running to me,
my eyes were a little moist.
I hugged her so tightly,
this little child of ten.
She told me she loved me,
with a great big precious grin.
Bells starting ringing
as the choir began to sing.
I was home with Jesus,
our Savior the King.
I looked up at daddy
and I said, "I love you!"
He said, "I know sweet Sam,
and I love you too!"
Living eternally in paradise
praising His name every day.
I'm glad I believe in Jesus,
that's why I was allowed to stay.
Author notes
I look forward to be with Him...and fear no longer lingers.
Physical death means spiritual life for believers in Christ Jesus. Theses are my beliefs....please don't slam them.
Thank you!
I had to stop and look around for a minute to see what I was reading, somehow I got lost. lol, but I remember what I was going to say. I love the Lord Jesus and wait for the day I bow at his thrown. This is a stunning peice of work, and I love the flow.
I'd never slam anyone's beliefs...because it's my honest thought, that what is heaven inside your heart...WILL be your heaven when you have passed...So manyarelost anddo not even know what they desire after death...like me...lol...I think I know, but am still uncertain as well...on shaky soil I am..though the path of Christ seems to be like a magnet that draws back again and again and fighting the polar pull...is impossible ifnot a little moronic ofme...I love your poem, and I know from all your writings here, that you will aspire into your heaven and be wrapped in all the peace you dream of!!! best of wishes to you...~genielassie~
See, I loved this, just because it's like the dream I had, and because I truly believe that those that are good and believe truly will have this. I think the best part of this poem was meeting up with your niece and your dad. It's so comforting to know that those we lost aren't truly gone. A wonderful, inspiring write, Sam
