Eat your shoes and eat your meat
Sit and rest your weary feet
In my hotel out by the road
Come stay at my hotel out by the road.
The sheets aren’t clean the door don’t lock
But the windows shut and we got smut
There’s always a vacancy
All the dirty masses come to me
When it’s time for three hours’ sleep.
The remote is broke and the water’s brown
But the blanket’s plush and the toilets flush
There’s always a cheap room free
Twenty buck you get a key
When it’s time for three hours’ sleep.
Greet your blues and greet the heat
Come on in off of the street
To my hotel out by the road
Come stay at my hotel out by the road.

Very nice flow and construction. Excellent imagery gives the piece a nice edge. Great use of vocabulary and it kept me entertained. Thanks for the read.

Repetitiveness irritates me but apart from that - you gave this write some life, the simplicity woks well with the effect and it was nicely penned.
Thanks for entering.
