Never questioning your motives
You held my heart in your hands
I said “Forever
You say “And ever”
I’ll spend my end holding your hands
What made you go to such lengths?
To cloak the truth
I loved you, no matter what
I uncovered you didn’t trust me
The stranger knew more about you
My heart is now torn in two
Your soft words are like poison
I rather choke on your lies
Than shed one tear because of you
I now say “Never and ever”
To all emotion
