Crystal patterns on my window,
crafted by an unseen hand.
Lacy cobwebs on the gatepost,
in icy splendour stand.
Little miracles of Winter,
in frozen beauty lie.
A landscape soon forgotten
as the season passes by.
As we wish it all away,
for Spring and Summer's clime.
Just remember Winter's beauty
may not be here, for all time.

Very well Done
You have written a masterpiece here - at least in the first 2 stanzas - the last verse however jumps from winter to summer - the last line could be modified along the lines of an old poet saying "can spring be far behind" or something like that - I think there is beauty in all the seasons and you have penned it well here for winter. keep on keeping on - Bless God - Joe

Wow, this is great! Your rhyming is very good. The poem is a nice length, and you have a nice thought that you focus on throughout the poem. Thanks for entering and good luck!
