A Man Of Many Words

Cricketjeff is a poet of note

Good at rhyme, never gloat

Always in a fine waistcoat

A man of many words

To rhyme in life his one great skill

Of words he’ll never have his fill

Computer now instead of quill

A man of many words

To lend a hand, he’ll give his time

make it scan, make it rhyme

if it’s not, to him a crime!

A man of many words

With his da-de-da’s, and dum-de-dum

He makes me smile when I am glum

A friend to me he has become

A man of many words

He teaches me the wrong from right

A well worked verse is such a sight

Helps my eyes to see the light

A man of many words

If you’ve time, please check him out

A gifted man, there is no doubt

It’s on AP where he’s about

This man of many words

Thanks Jeff for your friendship and help.

    Excellent Writing

To be this good Jeff must be
Using a cat to ghost-write him
This is how Ellis and me
Write so perfectly at a whim!

What can I say that aint been said?
This cricketjeff is quite well read,
    he's master of poetic rhyme,
and brings to us a joy sublime.
Likewise for us his little muse,
who we all know as dearest Suze,
who with her gift of poetic write,
fills us with such a sweet delight!

This man you know sure means a lot
his keyboard must be burning hot
always ready to give his lot
    this man of many words

His da de da has reached a spot
that others seek yet they can not
while dum di dum concludes his plot
    this man of many words

This poem fits right in a slot
where others fail, they mould and rot
I hope you sail to take the pot
for this man of many words

Now my head is rather swelled
I'm glad that you and I have gelled
Now by this tribute I am felled
I should be lost for words

I love to rhyme and read your verse
I've written and read a lot that's worse
And rotten rhyming is a curse
    I'm rarely lost for words

If sometimes I have helped you rhyme
Then I've not entirely wasted time
And that's a feeling quite sublime
And now I'm out of words.
