Its come again
New Years Day
but does it really matter?
While everyone is out enjoying themselves
surrounded by loved ones
I lie here,
In the deep recesses of my heart
and I find myself
hopelessly
and
utterly
Alone
There are no fireworks here
No confettie
No laughter
No smiles
no one to hug
or even to talk to,
Just me
and my sorrow
Alone
In the dark.
