Leaving to go across the land
Or journeying into another world.
Good byes don’t end the story
They merely end a page
To be continued on again.
Though these bodies
May not meet face to face
again,
Our souls will meet in Heaven
And I’ll give you
the biggest, best hug
I ever have.
We both belong to Jesus
You may just meet him first.
But one day I’ll see Him
And You and all of Them
We thought we lost,
But just temporarily didn’t see
Because this good bye
is not the last one
it’s until we meet again.

This poem is a lovely write and your grandpa is lucky to have you by his side. It must be hard to see him fade, just as hard as it would be to loose him so fast.
I can not make up my mind, if I would want my father do die slowly so I could take a goodbye or how it happened.
I was the last person who spoke to him before he left for work, he seemed so happy and well. Nothing seemed to bother him.
