a smile so rare
but makes my heart flutter madly
everytime a little hint of it
comes along
I find common ground
and it makes me smile-
no one else
is quiet like you
but you are a different sort
everyone thinks
you are moody
but if they just gave you a chance
maybe things would be better
the memories I have of you
are quite numerous
in my soul
and everytime
just one memory is opened,
a smile comes along
from where I don't know
but I find myself smiling
like a fool
though we are not
anything like friends,
you make me smile
isn't that enough?

I truly loved reading this poem. Beautiful word choice and flow. I can empathize to what feelings are being described in it. I have someone right now that just makes me smile, even though he doesn’t really know it. It was very easy to read and relate to. My favorite parts are:

And:
