Desk Adventures(cinquains)

Missing image
my desk
is my haven
where i go to escape
from reality around me
on line

cyber
(no, not the sex)
makes me smile through the bad
on line buddies who share their hopes
friendship

e-mail
annoying spam
hilarious forwards
letters that can brighten my day
thank you

passwords
damn, I forgot
written here at my desk
on a notepad that is missing
well, hell

ah yes
my antique desk
passed through the family
maybe not antique, but it's old
comfy

Author notes

That is my desk...more or less. I drew it last night on the computer with bitmap. (I've got a real funky one of my bookcase...maybe more poetry is coming)

I think everyone in my family has used this desk at one time or another.  And damn, it is HEAVY when moved....(solid wood.)

LOL...great cinquains!!! I like the contrast of using the antique desk for your 'new age' computer
I just couldn't imagine life without my computer, even with the annoying spam and forgotten passwords LOL. The online friendships make it all worth it!!!!
A wonderful, lighthearted write...brought a smile to my face
