Rainy Sorrow

Running far away from despair
As fast as my legs could take me
I wondered does this really mean
Nothing to you at all
You're just an image I can't forget.

Sometimes tears could fall so softly
Opening my heart to sorrow.
Rainy days, when do you stop?
Right when I start laughing?
Oh how I wish people could understand
Words hurt as much as You.

Author notes

Option 5. My first acrostic ^.^ You might notice I used "Rainy Sorrow" instead... I hope that works! otherwise just use the first stanza. Thank you!
