Juggling suspicions right around me,
the table full of the accusations.
A spider crawling across the floor,
it doesn't know what is in store.
Light flashing from above
and candles burning low.
How could I have not seen this coming,
when that man had come to my cardoor?
Asking me for directions,
I roll down my window to tell
that "nice" man which way to go,
he grabbed the handle and pulled.
The door opened up, and he unbuckled me,
flinging me to the street.
Watching my car being driven away by this carjacker,
I couldn't help but to think,
as I lay in the middle of nowhere,
What do I do now?
I answered myself by walking to
the next house I saw.
Hours later, I find myself,
being charged for lying to a police officer.
I plead my innocence, but my story didn't make sense
to anyone around me.
A truck pulls up to the door
of the station during the questioning.
In come men with a stretcher and jacket
saying I'm going to be safe and fine.
I realize with horror that this white jacket is
going to strap me in,
and with a jolt, I comprehend what's going on:
these people think I'm insane;
they're taking me to the Ward.
This doesn't make me feel better,
because now what do I do?

what a dilemma! However, I don't feel that a car jacking would be a valid enough reason to be considered "insane". Still, you wrote something quite imaginative and I thank you for that. Love, lane

Awesomely creative
sure hope it's not based in reality. Well written.
