A pen,
a pen is like a tree
with it's roots of stamina
built into ink
and all the writing it nourishes.
Leafy poetry
grows in my brain
if I have good water of creativity,
but the pointed ball bearing
is always a tool too!
Writers block
is like autumn winding down the inspiration
preparing for a winter pausing printing
with snow covering the entering.
Curled branches
of shaped genes
look healthy when there's a compliment
of a proved particular prettiness.

This is wonderfully written. I love the way you categorized your writing by the seasons in a year, by their characteristics and what they do to you. It is a very unique way to describe it.
Thank you for entering and all the best in the contest.
