A heart no longer shattered & blue
found it's destiny with all that you do
no longer afraid to face the night
Not now nor ever again...now that I've found you.
I found a place my heart wants to stay
wrapping itself & entwining with yours in a very loving way
It is truly with you and you alone
which gives me reason to look forward to each day.
You're teaching me the things
I've almost forgotten
There are so many things you're showing me
In which until you I never really knew.
How can it be that with the sound of my name from your lips
would cause my entire body to shake all the way to my fingertips
This brush that is painting our future so bright and vivid
has become our very own fairy tale that is so wonderfully livid.
You're showing me things
never seen before
You've given to me your heart and so much more
and showing me the things I never knew.

Descriptive
The way you feel is expressed clearly in this poem. However, the flow needs some work. The flow seems a bit scattered. You make your point though. Keep on writing. See my latest poem that was posted.........."Candlelight Night"

What a beautifully romantic poem. I loved this and the title I Never Knew is perfect for the poem. The first line A heart no longer shattered and blue is so great for the set up of the rest of your poem. Then the last line showing me the things I never knew. The title, first and last lines pen this poem very well. Good luck in the contest.
