Feeling Low at Christmas

Hunting a way to kick the blues.

my friend was having it rough.

Her oven wouldn't take a full pie crust.

  Taking not from my family,

I took from my personal account.

I found a little oven and grill,

I went to ups and they filled my bill.

Off in a truck went an oven and a maker

For my friend and her son the takers.

You know it took three days.

The weekend was longer than any song.

Now one was to keep it from the other.

I was not any better I told each the other.

  When the two boxes came.

The got together and did the trade.

They were both cooking,

Before the end of the day.

I didn't care, they were so merry.

They were singing like little red Christmas canaries.

Yes that made my day, Christmas came and went a long, long way.

The giving of a present is enjoyed by both, those who reveive and those who give too.
    This is lovely.

How wonderful that you gave a gift that was so needed. To me Christmas presents mean nothing if they don't come from the heart. You saw a need and filled it. That's what Christmas is about, all year long. Bless you for being an angel. I wish you the best in the contest my dear friend.

May the New Year be filled with all the joys you so well deserve

    All My LOVE ♥†♥
