One look into your cold frostbitten eyes
I cannot say that I'm surprised
you do not love me anymore
and you are never coming back to me.
There is a faint hum I know I can hear
Tuned to the street with my good ear
you do not love me anymore
and you are leaving me.
I'm not reading into that last little smile
the one that made me feel
like a lost little child,
you've made a decision.
But
that look
I took
into your frostbitten eyes
those marble slab skies
I thought I caught a little red
an ember burning in the remains-
by now it could be dead.

Heartbreak is a bad scene for anyone to go through. The emotion is penned well here. Great job and good luck.
