Tell me why you’d like to die
When the sky is choked and begins to cry
And though,
You’re not really dying
Don’t look back
But you’ve got see
I won’t trust you
Before you trust me
Or I’ll just,
End up crying
What to do, get up today
The alarm is screaming
To get the dreams out of the way
And shake memories from my hair
Tap on my door, and you announce,
I’ve got to get out of this place
Get out of town
And that’s when I realize
It’s all in my head
The skeleton walked up to me
Asked me my name and I said
Do you expect me to scream?
I’ll admit I was surprised when he replied,
“Maybe.”
So I walked away, kind of quick
Just as the sun was dying
And my shoes began to stick
To the pavement
Oh God, I’ve messed up
All over again, look at the clock
It’s after ten
I’ve lost him somewhere,
By the ocean
I opened the window
And looked at the view
My body was cracked
My soul was walking around the room
And I was mad because I couldn’t do,
What it was doing
I hate to write, without a light
But the world is trying to sleep tonight
And I’m just so very afraid
I might wake you
The door rehearsed and pounded still
The hurricane, earthquake, had its fill,
They shook my hand
And asked,
What I was up to
The dangerous part is the
Justified mirror,
Who’d lie straight to my face
If it wasn’t any clearer
I dropped the gun in the sink
And accidently,
Pulled the trigger
Alive, alive, you’ll be surprised
To find,
It’s kind of dead
And if I wasn’t so messed up
I’d find a way to fess it up
Before you stomp on the brake
Just to say that maybe,
You’ve had enough
But if you’ll give me one bit of chance
I think I’ll,
Take it

I absolutely love it, as I love everything you write, I can never quite get over the originality of your ideas and how you portray concepts and get messages across...it's just so...wow! I often read your poems and am like ooo, that's my favorite part..but it never lasts because I end finding a million favorite parts, and thus, the whole thing always ends up being freakin' awesome. So yeah, enough rambling...this is truly fantastic, of course, would I expect anything less from you

Wellll I was inspired by Bob Dylan!! woop! I'm glad you liked it though. Me and my weird imagination. :\ It's always like "Hey Kali! Check this out!! Lemme tell ya something that sounds cool!" And I'm like "Gosh, what do you want now?" Then it forces me to get some paper, guitar, or whatever it mind controlls me to do. I'm glad You seem to like it though, at least it's not going unheard of. I'm still waiting for a new piece from you though

THANKYOU THANKYOU. I like the skeleton part!

i read your profile and i saw you had a Jim Morrison quote.
and then i read this poem and i thought of him.
because this sounds like something he would write,
and for that,
this poem is beautiful.
i admire your writing style.
Blessed be.

HeY Thanks!!
I looooove Jim Morrison. He's absolutely amazing, which makes me really feel extremely flattered that you said that. I've read his poetry books as well...He's a very inspiring soul I must say. And you too, write very good, and in a unique sense. I like the way some of your lines catch me for a second as I read it.
ANyywayyy Thankyou
