Jagged deep symbols carved deliberately,
ancient cuts to mark eternal this waypost~

Evil permeates through to the roots
a black raven cocked its head askew
allowing one beady eye to gaze hatefully
Invokation at long last~
in hope that self destruction
was complete enough to allow
the leap into the abyss;
leavetaking of this Hell
of flesh and bark
This tree where Judas hung
his guilt from a limb
draws the lost and unforgiven
to talk hard the chant engraved
as the spiral architect opens wide

Ah... Such an intricate piece of thought derived from the image itself. You took this above and beyond my general expectation. Seeking the depth of possibility within the darkness. Well composed piece. Thank you for your entry!

Y'know i really wanted to think up an articulate, equally complex comment to honour this poem.
But i was a little overawed.
Just know i thought it was fucking good? -
And you created this from that picture?? Wow. Such a completely original take on the prompt. An intriguing strand of darkness, clawing, at the mind.
"This tree where Judas hung
his guilt from a limb
draws the lost and unforgiven"
Very, very nice piece you have penned here.

WOW! A deep write indeed.
I like how you included the symbols in your write...
Gives the reader a bit more understanding.
The imagery is great, the part of the poem that sent chills up my spine is the crow... one beady eye to gaze hatefully.
great job!

This is a very deep and thoughful write. It was very deep. I have to admit i was a little lost, but the words were very unique. But i can tell that there are alot of emotions and feeling behind this write.
