What I've Learnt

That life is short
So you have to live each moment as it comes
Because you can never get it back

To not have regrets
Because all your doing is wasting energy

To not ask what if questions
Because you cant go back and change things
And you cant predict the future

That everything happens for a reason
Even if you don't know what the reason is

That I would do anything for the people I love

That I can make it through the hard times

I've learnt that no matter how exhausted I am
I can keep going for the ones I love

This year I was pushed to the edge
And I made it through...
I survived

I can survive anything
If I'm willing to fight hard enough

That you shouldnt force kids to grow up
Because in the end...
they are just that
kids

But most of all
This year I've learnt
That growing up will be on of the hardest things I have to do
