She is terribly upset
yet she doesn't know why
and strangely enough she just can't cry.
She wants to so badly
and her eyes fill with tears
but something inside her holds them in fear.
Knowing she'll feel better after flooding her face
she wonders why she just can't open the floodgates.
Holding all emotion inside
it all seems to rage
growing in size.
Every second feeling more and more hopeless
her heart aches for closeness
deeply longing for a loving touch
wanting nothing other than to be held until she's out of this rut.

The rythm of this poem is excellent but I have to say the content of it is what has touched me.
You have created a beautiful piece in it's sadness and desperation.
I believe many of us can relate closely if not exact to this write.
