Dreams stand as resolute pillars
frozen capsules of time
that can be re-lived over and over again
so we remember every raw and pure emotion
whether the moment is wrapped in truth
or merely how we wish it to be
While feelings constantly stir and twist
within our core, fondness and attraction
is often mistakenly labeled as love
There is a much deeper
more profound definition
of the rare jewel that is "true love"
and when touched by its gentle hand
you will know without question
that passion's fire will burn
endlessly within you
All previous infatuations
will suddenly fade to become
whispered memories
from ghosts of the past
Few may ever taste
such sweetness upon their lips
though at some level
we all know that the day shall come
for us all to be showered in love
from one truly pure soul.
