Don’t bite the hand,
that strums upon
such fragrant petals
to your garden's bloom
and to your thorny stem,
to where such delicate
fingers roam
unfurling essence
sweetly-
that I might smile
and breathe you
in delight
and while we sway
to song and music
unclothe we shall dance
under love’s stars,
and moon tonight.

This is beautiful Mal, soft and sensous and wanting! Wow, if only I could write free verse like this! Amazing! Keep the ink flowing my friend! You have a natural ability to draw others into your world of thought! A delight to read!

Leave it to you ,you're such an incurable romantic! To take such a generalized term to softness in love between lovers. When this could have gone in a plithera of oposing directions.
