When it rains I can hear myself think.
Thoughts dropping like water into my mind.
And there I drown in unfamiliar territory.
And I am too scared to reach dry land and to know what I’d find.
How have you felt & do you understand?

There is so much said here with so few words. It is detailed, yet obtuse at the same time. You have acheived something which many are incapable of (myself included). Good job!

Wonderful!
Short, simple, yet very deep and complex all at the same time. Sometimes it feels like that for me even when it hasn't rained in ages. It is amazing to me how so much thought can be put down with so few words. I enjoyed this very much and I assure you I will be back to read more.
"And there I drown in unfamiliar territory" My favorite line in this piece because I have been trying to write new and different things myself, to expand my writing. And sometimes I feel like I am "drowning in unfamiliarity" when I cant get it to go onto the paper the way it works in my mind. Well done!!!

Hmm.
I really like this. It made me think a LOT. I feel as though your trying to say that your drowning in your own thoughts..almost, too afraid to take control of them? I could be totally wrong, probably am.. Thats just what my first opinion was. This really is a superb write. Nice job poet.
