The Frozen Heart

"Don't go!
Don't go!
Don't go!"
She screamed.
But he would only live by impossible means.

Heart attack, maybe.
But who can tell?
His heart stopped and right now,
That's all that matters.
Refusing to let go.
Refusing to accept the fact that he's DEAD.
She's not cut out for life and what it does.

Oh yes, what life does.
Kills off our friends and our loved ones.
Never can you know what's around the corner.
One minute you're happy, the next you're a mourner.
One minute they're here, the next they're gone.
You never knew there was that bomb.

Police come and ask what happened.
All she can do is just not listen.
They hand out possibilities at what might have happened.
She just tells herself it was hell-send.
Now all she does is repeat a phrase.
That cryptic phrase that will just stay.
Stay in your mind forever.

"Don't go!
Don't go!
DON'T GO!"

Author notes

Yes, it was crappy. I know that. So just don't rub that in so much.

Now, I did kind of want this to be a ryming poem. But I can't ryme. Not at all. That's why there are a few rymes scattered around at places.

This is the seond in my 'Make A Poem of Every Chapter Title in Tsuabsa RESERvoir CHRoNiCLE Volume 15'. Chapitre 113.
