Now I divide my medicines,
pressure, heart, and cholesterol
in vials of seven pills
for the upcoming week.
Learned from past mistakes,
so as not to take them twice
instead of the once a day as prescribed.
Not have a recurrence of that time
the wife & I dropped two tabs of mescalin
instead of one each!
Way too much speed, even if
Bob Dylan never sounded so good ,
and we never felt closer to God.
Getting there in under five minutes
was a motherfucker!
