Ghost moon filters,
playing lacy peek-a-boo
through morning blue,
whispering to dreams,
reminding them where they belong.
Pictures parceled
grow hungry for presence,
expanding,
demanding matters be bold,
be told.
Lifting prisms to the sun,
she gently fades to break of day,
...and yet
December wind bites the chill
with her early rise
demanding her foothold be noted.
