We fought through many storms,
As I stood loyally by your side.
You were there for me in my times of need,
As I was there for you.
When hard days would knock upon my door,
Your hand was the one I reached out for.
A rock solid friendship we had,
That no one could break.
Been through things that no one else could ever believe,
For it stayed between you and me.
Notes passed in the hallway telling of one's adventure,
Signed in black ink yours always.
I could say I love you,
For your my best friend,
You been through it all with me,
As we say until the very end.

I think it's cute, but I would work a little on the fluidity. Some lines flow better than others do, and at times the beat count is a little off, like lines 9 and 11. But otherwise I think it was a nice job, so good luck.
