She started her period last night,
frightened little me huddled,
blood puddled on the floor as she screamed for more.
I callously dragged my phallus across her core
till the fleece turned frozen,
there's police at the door!
Concerned neighbor calls falling on the scope
of duty, coolly cops stop on the block of my community,
shopping for the badge justified,
I lied and said she's crazy.
One had a lazy eye
and a temper,
no time for semper fi.
I took a lungfull,
swum out my door till they hung me out to dry.
death or salvation?

Spring, I gotta tell ya. I found the first part a bit disturbing. What exactly happened here?

Its a metaphor for murder, I think. The intimacy of death is like sex if its shared with someone. To be someone's last moment, penetrate them as fully as sexual penetration, but moreso. You can reach parts of someone that have never been physically touched. The period part just means that the perspective-holder's victim said the wrong thing. She couldn't help but bleed the words that made him unable to help bleeding her. Screaming for more is still screaming, and while it probably wasn't for more, it ended when her body grew cold and then, eventually, the cops came.
