Everything here is new.
its different.
its different from everything i've ever known in my life.
but i'm starting over.
my life is in my control.
coming here,
i lost some parts of me.
some of them were good,
some were bad.
but the good and the bad always come together, dont they?
so it will all be okay.
this is my life,
this is how i'm going to live it,
starting over.
i'm my own person.

Wow, I love this because I really can personally relate to this. I, too, am starting over in my life and trying to make sure I stay in control of this fresh start. I love how well this went with the title, they go perfectly together. I really liked the part how the good and bad always come together. My one critique is that it could use a bit more emotion, a bit more description. Like, instead of "Everything here is new" it could be something like "There is a pureness here, a freshness an unfamilarness. Everything here is new", Just adding a little bit to what you have. Overall, great job.

exciting and scarry in the beginning but yes indeed so rewarding when you take charge of your own life and set yourself free. I wish you the best of luck in your new jourmey
