the judge looks at me and asks
"innocent or guilty"
i smile, knowing that technicalities set me a a murderer
not an avenger, nor a protector,a good friend
what does HE care?
his job is to sentence me, or set me free
what do THEY care
about the teenage girl i called a friend
who came to me
saying he hurt her
....he used her....
he raped her....
drugged and beat her....
i smile, knowing the public will not sympathize
with me, the friend of a victim
the one to stop him, save others lives
but it wasnt nobility or chivalry
it was her, crying and bleeding
that made me do it
that made me take justice into my own hands
now bloodstained and tainted
so as he looks at me
"innocent or guilty'
i know what i am, but how they will see me
what if it was YOUR friend, your daughter, or you
would i be innocent or guilty?

I love that.
This could be darker. But I definitely liked it. A couple of grammatical issues. But thank you for the entry! And in my opinion, hell yeah you're guilty, of murder but also of protecting. I'd say a suspended sentence. Shutting up now!
