a better world than reality
swirls inside my head.
its an idealised version of what is true,
fogging everyday calamities.
leave casual urges for fame, riches and celebrity status
to those who are genuinely, selfishly content,
for we all know that they are are unimportant.
i have my basic components,
the elements that may one day complete me,
just improve it all ten-fold,
and you are left with the essence of my daydreams.

A lovely poem you have penned. I think we all have a vision of what the ideal world should look like. But in reality it falls far short of our dreams. Excellent write!!! You take care, Sandy
