Love in a Time of War

I grow closer and closer to you every second.
You breath on me, your musky rough breath.
You entwine your course fingers with mine.
I'm in heaven, this is the life.
But war calls your name and mine too not too long from now.
I have trouble breathing, thinking, talking.
My heart, my soul, my existence is only with you.
Stay with me, if only for awhile.
Kiss me softly, for it'll be the last for a long time.
Gently graze my skin with you rough hands just a little longer.
Let me cry in your chest just one last time.
I will miss you my love, don't leave me in this cruel world alone.
For when you and I reunite, I will never let go again.

Please tell me what you think

when I read your poems you can always feel a power in them. Good write. Also they all seem to be about a guy in your life. So that must mean things are going well. best of luck with that.

good write. You can feel the pain and love that you put into this poem. Line five has a little prob flowing. You say too too much for just one line. Well either way good job.
