Seems forever
I've been here
I won't let go
Of this dream

The trees lost
All their leaves
The wind played
Many melodies
… The seasons changing
They've all said
I've tried too much
I feel that
It's not enough
… To keep me breathing
Waiting
My rose is turning grey
Losing its scent
Day by day
… But I'll keep on believing.

Great write, I really enjoyed this! I loved the overall message of the piece and the simplicity of it. It could've used a bit more emotion though, more showing, less telling. Apart from that, awesome job!!!
