Loud silence enters as before.
Unbreakable, unspeakable, it stands.
Clouded truth, shattered vowels.
I was never able to retrieve any words, instead I lied.
Watching and waiting.
For signs of love.
Sitting and wishing with all my heart.
You would forget what ive come to be.
Time is merciless.
Silence is unbearable.
Letting go is incomprehensible.
But I wish I could follow through.
My life rests on your hands.
Twisting and turning.
Into a storm of deceit.
Found everything I held so dear to be thrown out onto the concrete.
Scattered in the debree.
I try to pick up whats left.
Still, I dont feel complete.
Something is lost and missing.
A heart lays still on the ground.
One black ribbon.
Makes one perfect bow.
It waits for you to free it and finally let it go.

Beautiful
I do like the meaning behind this poem & I enjoyed reading it.. The flow of it was steady & the meaning very apparent.. There was some crypticism there as well.. I'm not sure that I could see this beautiful poem as lyrics, though.. Thank you for entering my 1st contest!!
