Truth...

~ a question in Night ~

Shone like mercy in darkest night
leading to the penitent pew
sat blinded by small glaring light
‘til rose of night came morning hue

Dawn gave grace to unlit places
easing doubtful downcast faces
released from bonds of mystery
spirits climb winds of liberty

~ an answer in Day ~

Truth though hidden still finds its way
rising sunrise burning through mist
where fear passes as clouds of gray
derived dread, such profits resist;

true leaders shoulder praise and blame
precious breath 'pon freedom’s flame
peace honors loss of sacred life
failing future, we fall to strife.

    Fun to read.

I like the way this is put together.....it is fun, to be challenged to see what it is that inspired this writting......I have conflicting feelings about a couple of different interpretations, that came throughout reading the poem........I am having trouble to keep a solid interpretation, from the beginning to the end....the "point" or reason for this writting keeps changing for me before I can finish reading......It makes, it fun, and many times this is a sign of a great insight........that can only be understood when looked at from a very precise perspective......Nice work!
