Keep your eye upon the light
and everything will be alright
day by day each step you take

The frame is firm, foundations whole
don't lose sight of your life's goal
the stairway straight will show the way
and feet shall not be drowned in clay.
Stop on each landing and rest awhile

this is beautifully written from the prompt and really holds a within it. the rhyme flows beautifully from line to line. well done and best of luck
