Happiness

And when I heard
She was better
Who could have been
Happier than me?
I danced for joy
Jumped up and down
Nothing that day
Could cause me to frown
When she came home
I shouted in delight
And the others joined in
In a cheer
When she came in
With a smile on every face
The house was full
With people
Then the tears came
Big fat ones
I was so happy
