A Demon's Anthem: On the Outside

On the outside I seem to be,
A normal human like everybody.

I have I eyes to see and ears to hear.
I have hair on my head and people I hold dear.

But I'm not human and wish people could see,
The way I really look, how I see me.

I'd show them my long black hair.
Hanging almost to my feet, down there.

My wonderful golden eyes.
That beauty rivals the sun in the skies.

These large pointed ears,
Which surprisingly aren't the source of my tears.

No one teases because no one can see.
That what makes me sad, no one sees me!

But back to my description of outside not in.
On to my best feature, my lovely skin.

It is a reddish-brown hue.
Covers all my outsides, soft and smooth too.

Well thats about it for my frame
I just wish you could see I'm no ordinary dame.
