The angel spread his arms out wide
"Come now, dear child! What have you to hide?"
His wings did flutter, and closer he flew
to tell this woman something she knew.
"In heaven, my dear, no clothes will you wear.
Oh, no. You see, you'll go around bare."
So with her shirt gone and pants disappating
all the woman could do was stand there waiting.
She cocked her hip and the angel flew closer
She couldn't think why God would have chose her.
'My life's been rough. I've never been good.
I don't think I've done all the things that I should.
I didn't follow God, of that I'm sure.
I don't even think my hearts been pure.'
When the angel was but a few feet away
His pristine image began to sway.
And in its place a demon flew
and closer and closer and closer he drew.
"Now my dear, we'll fly to Hell!
I'm sure all your friends are hoping you well.
But you've lead a life completely untrue
and now it is time to collect what is due!"
So with the Devil waiting for her below
All of her feelings the woman did show.
"Please help me, oh God!" she cried out in fright
before falling to Hell, to serve forever in Night.

I've never tried a religious approach to something like this, so I hope it's good. Please let me know if you like it or not.

Your rhyming is incredible. I am glad that you saw it was an angel, people are not getting that. I like the twist that a demon came. I truly enjoyed this. Great penn! Thank you for entering and good luck in the contest.

I think this is really different and it has worked well to the picture. Nicely done, it is a very good surprise and I think you should be proud to of going in a different direction.
