Not interested in your:
garden, parakeets, conceit,
children, or career either.
Why do I have to care about your religion?
It is not something every (wo)man must face.
If there is a hell, one that exists
how your religion tells me it does,
I have a straight and narrow path
directly to its "firey pits."
I don't know if there is one such hell.
I do know that the question of its existence
causes people to kill each other.
If your religion is based on love,
how could it possibly create so much hate?
Not only yours, but just any religion.
Religion is founded on a false sense of superiority.
And judgment.
What happened to "judge not lest ye be judged?"
Here is my religion: humanism.
Not that man will become a god, or whatever.
But that each man should be as good as he can
to every other man. What else could we do?
