miracles before your eyes.
Prayers for sin, a penance paid;
golden rose before her laid.
Peace for mankind her message of love,
conversion for all; a call from above.
Divine revelation, her promise I'm told;
grace and protection the mysteries hold.
If not governed by God tyrants will rule,
Our sword, our armor lies within her tool.
Offered to us our by lady of hope,
eternal salvation on her virtuous rope.
Innocent blood cries to heaven from earth,
by hands of man were these souls denied birth.
Atheist lies seep into our souls,
when weakened by trickery evil grows.
Have faith in her peace plan connect with her chain,
offending the Lord has brought forth great pain.
Her promise of aid, she stands by our side
with the glory of God, the virtue of pride.
Send up your prayers,
to our lady with love.
Mother of earth,
gift from above.
Author notes
MAY 31st I wrote this poem several years ago, a love one sent me a rosary, born and raised a catholic yet I did not know how to say the rosary. I did hold them in my hand nightly when I said my prayer. years later I recieved another rosary through the mail from a charity along with the rosary was a booklet that taught me how to say the rosary and I did daily, not too long after I started writing a different kind of poetry and most which I truely did not understand I was not a devout catholic I was not familar with the bible. I now believe that religion is one way to the divine, I don't believe we can count the many ways there are to knowledge, to God, I know that my spelling is off my poems are not writen in the way that they should be, I am sure I am not a poet,I do the best I can to translate what I learn, to make just one soul aware.

Certainly this poem [and it is a poem, make no mistake about that!] was for me instructive. I have no recognised faith but I can see the sincerity in your every word.

Nice rhyme, and a passionate christian plea.
Maybe you would consider using some punctuation to actualise the rhythm? Oh, what about the author notes? -
It is awonderful path that you have chosen. So much poetry is about love lost. You have chaosen to show love with god. Well wriiten and pleasure to read.

Heartfelt!
Wha' ya mean U no poet? You've excellent rhyme. You state your case clearly. I was a Catholic. I understand where this is coming from. You just reminded me I've got a Title in line to write about "Beads". Check it out when it shows up. You may find it interesting. Your title "Mysteries of the Rosary" says more than you know! I could write a book just about this! Oh...I do my best to articulate what I understand to help other souls to become aware. I can only plant seeds He does the watering! Good job in expressing your understanding & feeling about it.

Thank you for clicking on my poem ''The Spirits Soul Creation''
I am not a bead lover but I do love God with all my heart and soul. Nice write.

In my message, I also forget to put that the baby had beleeding around her brain and God healed her.No wonder they called her a miracle baby!Sometimes, we'll never know[maybe in heaven],how much good our prayers do}

Great!
I love to say the rosary, as well!I've had miracles by saying it.One is that as I was praying the rosary one day{this was in the early 80's}I asked God to save one baby from abortion for every bead I prayed.I became discouraged and I asked God to show me that my prayers were effective.Then I continued.The next day, I heard over the radio that two women had gone with another to have an abortion.They were given the baby in a bag and told to go home and wait till she died and then to dispose of her.The baby didn't die and was fuinally taken to hospital, where they found that she had bleeding around the lining of her heart and lungs from the abortion.I prayed for the baby to be healed.Next thing I heard, was she was healed and tthey called her a miracle baby.Years later, in the late 90's, I saw two books written by two teens who had both experienced what I've just described and they both had prolife mintistries.God only knows how many babys were saved through prayer.

A poem by a poet Excellent
Please understand that when one is touched that is what a poet does. This poem touched me and can bring understanding and hope to many people in this world. Yes it is a light a candle a spark in this darkness. There are many paths and they all lead to the same destination. I enjoyed reading it and I was renewed. Thank you for sharing.

Long before we even become aware of the fact that we are thinking of something, our thoughts are known in other places and times. By dwellers of the realm of Light and by those who oppose them. It is why some events seem eerily coincidental to us often - much of the battle has taken place already before we become aware of it. But the final input is asked of us. Our prayers and thoughts are the tiny contribution to the universal war that rages around and inside us. Insignificant as our role may seem, we might at times wonder why we are at the end of the cycle. Perhaps there is something really significant that is part of our existence, something that most are unable to determine for now. 'Send up your prayers' indeed; I heed that call. Thank you for creating and sharing. I enjoyed reading your poetical ponderings. Take care,
AD
