Sorrow, Pain,
thoughts of us
graze my memories
like a bullet to my heart
It's taking longer
to get over you
then it did
to fall in love with you
Why is that?
Is it because
we are still
in such close proximity?
Have you ever
had someone hug you
so tightly that it hurt?
I feel that way
everytime they say your name...
Why is it
that everyone feels compelled
to tell me
whats going on in your life?
I can't listen
to your name anymore
It hurts toooooo much
Why do I still feel
SO MUCH PAIN
when I am the one
who walked away
You know the old saying
Tis better to have loved and lost
then never to have loved at all
Well that person had NO fucking clue
what heartache does to a person
Or what it's done to me.
Don't get me wrong I know
that walking away
was the right thing to do
but why does it still hurt so bad
we've been apart
as long as we were together
so you would think
it would be better
easier to see you
easier to talk to you
easier to hear your name and voice
easier to see the broken hearted
look on your face
when I say no
to your endless advances
