Like lovers embracing the midnight hues
Psychedelic thoughts of passion ensue
Caught in the swirls of wild emotions
Only to be tamed by a cool reaction
Heated heart in minds array
Tempered by feelings blue
Not a word spoken in return
Just the coloured smiles of calm
And collected lovers knowing each other is there
To hold no matter what the mood
As they melt into a rainbow laced world of dreams.

First of all, love the picture you used here. It reminds me of a feeling of heaviness. Love the poem. It also speaks deeply of heaviness. The words seem to speak of a longing, a need that seems to be unattainable. The setup of the poem was great, easy to read, and calming to the soul, although it spoke to me of something missing.

I like this. Good flow and great imagery. Word choice is excellent. I love the last line, "rainbow laced world of dreams." Fantastic line, love it.
